I was first introduced to Iridology back in the early 1980’s. I attended a Whole Life Expo and I was intrigued with all the different booths offering alternative remedies versus Western medicine. Dr. Bernard Jensen was working one of the booths and asked if I would like to have my eyes analyzed. Since they did not have computers back then, he used a magnifying glass and a flashlight. (We still use this technique today to verify certain information). What surprised me was I just had a physical and he could see some potential tendencies in my eyes that were reflected in my physical report. At the time, I was working for Corporate America and I could not see how I could make a living doing Iridology. However, the seed was planted.
Fast forward to 1996. I was attending another Whole Life Expo and Dr. Ellen Jensen was at the expo performing Iridology Analyses. She asked me if I would like to have my eyes analyzed. I was excited to have them read again. Dr. Ellen Jensen is the daughter-in-law of Dr. Bernard Jensen. She worked years alongside of Dr. Bernard Jensen. She noticed some markings in the female area of the Iris and asked if I had some issues in that reaction field. I told her I had. It was amazing what the eyes can reveal. Again, at that time, I was the Director of Human Resources. Still not sure how this would work in my life.
In 2003, I decided to leave Corporate America (tired of Merger, Acquisitions and Take Overs which resulted in layoffs, firings, and company shutdowns). I decided to go back to my passions of the Arts. Being a stained-glass artist and oil painter, this seemed to be more in tune with my body and soul. I became a Transformational Life Coach, Reiki Master/Teacher, and a classic Feng Shui Consultant.
In 2012, I was reintroduced to Iridology again, now it fit in my life. I went through all of the required classes to become certified through the International Iridology Practitioners Association (IIPA). Now was the right time in my life. To add to the Iridology, I am also a certified Family Herbalist. When I look into my client’s eyes, I see art first, since no two eyes are alike, and I find them all to be beautiful. I then start my Iris analysis.
